Snow

Sometimes I feel like snow. Not the pretty 12 inches of snow that falls over a couple days. The kind that gets you out of work and creates memorable days with friends and family. I feel like the unfulfilling mist that fell the night before a sixty degree afternoon. The snow that gets your hopes up before you fall asleep, but ends up being just another day.

This is thoughts

It's wintertime. Well, it's not really wintertime, it's early spring. I cling to winter. I beg for it to hang around as long as possible. Like one does when that friend they haven't seen in so long says it time to go home, and you know it will be a while before you can see each them again. It probably has something to do with me hating hot weather. I could go on and on about this, but it's just a stack of negative comments about how it's usually quite warm in Oklahoma from about mid-April to the beginning of November.

Anyways, for now it's still chilly. This means you'll most likely see me in flannel shirts. I love flannel shirts. I wish it were cool enough that I could wear them year round. When I was younger I would see my grandpas and wonder how they dressed the same everyday, overalls for one, and a set of navy blue heavy work shirts for the other. I have grown older and I am starting to realize it's much easier to just put on what's most comfortable and holds up against the elements best.
